
Despite some of my formal training in Chinese and Japanese Calligraphy, I don’t see myself as being rigidly adherent to the discipline. For me, it’s a personal form of practice and experimentation to find line and stroke patterns that I find appealing, without having to concern myself too much with perfect form or legibility. I suspect my past instructors would probably take umbrage.
